More than 100 countries around the world will celebrate Safer Internet Day on Feb. 5. In the U.S., the official main event will be held in Seattle at Google, and hosted by ConnectSafely.org.
The 2019 theme, “Together for a better internet” is a call to action for every stakeholder – children and young people, parents and caregivers, teachers, educators and social workers, as well as industry, decision makers and politicians – to play their part in creating a better internet for everyone, in particular the youngest users out there. More than that, it is an invitation for everyone to join in and engage with others in a respectful way in order to ensure a better digital experience for all.
