Wesly Hernandez serves as U.S. Policy Lead for the West Region at Snap Inc., where he works with policymakers across the country to explain Snap’s platform, core values, and robust approach to user safety. He partners closely with state and local officials to shape technology policy, providing technical expertise and real-world impact analysis to support balanced, workable legislation.
Before joining Snap, Wesly spent a decade leading state and local policy efforts for McDonald’s Corporation and Mondelez International. He also brings public-sector experience from roles with two members of the Los Angeles City Council. Across sectors, Wesly has built a reputation for translating complex policy issues into practical solutions and building consensus among diverse stakeholders.
