In honor of Safer Internet Day, we spoke with a talented group of people from the worlds of education, technology, nonprofits and law enforcement about a range of urgent issues, including online toxicity, the racial justice movement, free speech, the battle against misinformation, and the very real pressure to be “perfect.” And while we tackled some tough subjects, we had plenty of light moments, too — hearing about our guests’ favorite apps and influencers, creative ways they manage screen time, and how the internet helped them stay connected and adjust to a difficult year.
